It spans 2.44 miles (3.93 km) in a south to north direction. It is signed as both LA 3057 and US 61 Business, comprised of the old U.S. 61 route.

From the south, LA 3057/US 61 BUS begins at an intersection with U.S. 61 and LA 10, and heads north into downtown St. Francisville. It meets the old LA 10 alignment at a signaled intersection, which originally was paired with LA 3057/US 61 BUS for a short distance before turning to the east.
LA 3057/US 61 BUS continues north to its current terminus at US 61, just south of The Myrtles Plantation, a historic home famous for its many reported ghosts.
